Gig Harbor Arts Center?
Peninsula Art League President, Ann Knapp has set up an on-line petition to gather signatures in support of the creation of an Arts Center to serve the greater Gig Harbor Peninsula area. The Center would provide space for meetings, performances, art exhibits, concerts, rehearsals and classes, workshops, storage and administrative offices for all visual and performing arts organizations in the greater Gig Harbor Peninsula region.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK!!
Most of the beautiful art on the page this week is by Linda Jacobus. Linda is a wonderful oil painter.
"The Light Brings Forth the Seeing":

A collection of fine oils by Linda is on display at Morso Wine Bar March 25- April 24th.

Artist Opening Reception is on Friday, March 25th 6-8pm

"Throughout my life I have always had a desire to be creative and explored different crafts and mediums to express that desire. None of them fulfilled my yearning. In 1992, I first picked up a brush and gently caressed the canvas with paint, I knew my search was over."

Click on Morso Wine Bar to find out all about Linda. Stop in Morso to see her wonderful show.
Linda Jacobus can also be found at Ebb Tide Gallery in Gig Harbor.
