For Art Sake is a wonderful gallery right on Harborview. This month the featured artist is Kathaleen O'Brien who creates wonderful art in oils and mixed media.

Stop in and enjoy the art and perhaps find this wonderful art card, created by Lynn Guenard. We all love Lynn's art and you can find more of it during the Summer Arts Festival on Judson, July 21 and 22.


Water's Edge Gallery and Framery is the featured gallery for the month of June. Stop in and have a look at beautiful art. The featured artist this month is Lola Waller.
While there be on the look out for this wonderful art card by Kathy Thurston...from a wonderful painting of Mt. Rainer.

Sat and Sunday is our annual Art Fest on Judson Street..
put on by the Peninsula Art League.
Lots of great art and food and other stuff....
retail therapy is always good...even if window shoppping!!!
Saturday is our annual Chalk the Walk in downtown Gig Harbor.
5 professional artists will be here to amaze and inspire.
Stop at the tables for your own chalk...free...and leave your art on the sidewalk.
This year a shuttle to take you from downtown to the Finholm District...great art there as well.
Just get out and about cause it is going to be lots of fun!!!

#2. If your Dad likes to garden, get him tickets to the Gig Harbor Garden Tour,
happening June 25, and 26th ....do something fun and perhaps a little unexpected with Dad this year!!!

How lucky is Gig Harbor to have our very own wonderful, hands on History Museum? A great place for you to visit! A great place to take your visitors....and while you are there find this beautiful art card by Laura Bethke. It is titled "Feather Dancer" and if you miss it at the History Museum, just walk on over to Ebb Tide Gallery to find more of Laura's beautiful art!!

Yes, that is one of Ty Cline's original paintings. Wonder where you will find it? Here's a hint.....see that snowman? Well, inside the snowman is filled with peanuts and right next to Ty's painting you will find cranberry birdseed. Hum!!!!! Those are all the hints. Go forth and find!

Well, 'they' say it is going to snow this weekend. Here's a beautiful piece of original art by Rebecca Westeren that is frosty and sparkly and silvery and looks like new fallen snow...watch out.
