benefiting the Franciscan Hospice.

compeition....underway now. Local kids and adults had 72 hours to create a short film and submit to the festival...Kidsfest is Oct 17 and Independents, shorts, documentaries and animated on Oct. 15,16....give a little click to the link!


You, yes you, take a look outside at the gorgeous sunshine. Then head on over to the best bird seed downtown and find a lovely piece of FREE glass art. A Clam Chowder Weekend

Do you like Clam Chowder? I do. So, come along with me and some friends to the Farmer's Market on Kimball this Saturday, Sept. 25 for the annual Clam Chowder Cook Off. Who will win this year? Will it be the same winner as last year? Boy, that was surely great clam chowder last year.
You never know where you might find a little FREE art!!

Here's the clue...this is big art. "Puppy Dog Eyes", an original watercolor by Charlie Meacham. Charlie is a wonderful artist and if you are the lucky recipient, you will be really happy!! Oh, where could it be? It's on Pioneer. Summer is classified as one, so is Spring, Fall, Winter....hum!!! Come on, you know what that is! Stacy Webber has created another one of her beautiful cross stitch book marks. I think I did some cross stitch when I was younger and had eyes that worked a little better! Also look for one of Rebecca Westeren's original arcylic and gold paintings. Rebecca is a wonderful artist and you will find more of her work at her gallery For Art Sake! in the Finholm area.
By the way, you do know that good art is not suppose to match your couch, right?
So, now you're in UPTOWN and you need some great shoes. I love the shoes in this store! If you haven't seen these great shoes...go there, now! By the way...find one of those little collectible Gig Harbor Film Festival posters!!!
