Kindness Matters
Why Kindness?
Be
cause a Mother's heart is full of kindness.
Perhaps your "Mother" is your aunt or another special person in you life.....
Celebrate t
he kindness that someone has shown you!!!

A Mother never gets in the way.....unless you happen to be going down!

How many times we went to Mother for an answer, her answer was; "I'm sure you can figure it out".....unless, of course, we were about to put the traffic sign on the scavenger list or put someone in danger.

So, how did your Mom save you?

"The kindest hug is from your Mother's arms...celebrate Mom!"

How many times we fel
l off our bikes or our roller skates ran away with us. Only your Mother's arms could wrap round you and sooth the pain!

"Mothers listen when no one else cares!"

For all those times when we just rambled on and on and on, sometimes about a great injustice we felt or feelings we did not understand or when the hormones took control...oh the patience our Mothers had!!!

Mothers are special people!

Mothers or Mother figures teach us to have a heart and to share and to care for others..."Pretty is as pretty does."

What gift did your mother share with you that you will carry forever?

"The kindest touch is your Mother's touch...Celebrate Mom"

Wasn't it always just the touch on your arm...or perhaps her eyes touched you.
During the 60's when the Kennedy's were in the White House, pill box hats were quite the fashion. Mom had a wooden hat block and we had pill box hats for Easter that year.
(If you want to know the location of the FREE art, like us on Facebook)

Celebrate your Mom...and share a memory on our I found Kindness page!!!

Where ever your footsteps take you this week,
go with great joy and great kindness to one another!!!

People in Gig Harbor are turning GREEN!!!

Folks in Gig Harbor are turning GREEN
Well, OK. Maybe folks really aren't turning green...maybe it is just the GREEN wrist band that is happening all over town!!!

If it is spring in Gig Harbor, then it is time for the FeelGoodFreeArtProject blog.
We are back for out 3rd year, so come and play with us!!

KINDNESS MATTERS ...STOP, THINK, FEEL

This year when you find your piece of FREE art, attached will be two GREEN wrist bands. One wrist band is for you...because you are a kind person. Take a moment to look around and when you see someone performing an act of kindness, give them the other wrist band.

Gosh, an act of kindness can be anything from an extra smile, a kind word, opening a door for someone, picking up something, donating a book to the library, free babysitting, sweeping a walk for someone, tell someone how much you appreciate them and lots more.
When you give or receive a wrist band, come on back here to I Found Kindness and let us know your story of kindness and maybe you've got some ideas that you will want to share.
LET'S SEE JUST HOW GREEN GIG HARBOR CAN GET THIS SUMMER!!!

EXTRA SURPRISE......
Come on downtown to the harbor this Saturday at the Paddle Races...
put on the GREEN!

"The seeds of kindness that you plant today will one day bloom in the hearts of all you touch!" PIQ

"Be truthful, gently, kind and fearless!" Ghandi

"Don't be pushed by your problems....be lead by your dreams!" RW Emerson
