A Clam Chowder Weekend

Do you like Clam Chowder? I do. So, come along with me and some friends to the Farmer's Market on Kimball this Saturday, Sept. 25 for the annual Clam Chowder Cook Off. Who will win this year? Will it be the same winner as last year? Boy, that was surely great clam chowder last year.
You never know where you might find a little FREE art!!
There's great art out this week, where did you find yours?

Here's the clue...this is big art. "Puppy Dog Eyes", an original watercolor by Charlie Meacham. Charlie is a wonderful artist and if you are the lucky recipient, you will be really happy!! Oh, where could it be? It's on Pioneer. Summer is classified as one, so is Spring, Fall, Winter....hum!!! Come on, you know what that is! Want to see more of Charli's art, contact Charli at charlimeacham@centurytel.net...check participating artist page.

A very lucky day for you, because there are AT LEAST 2 pieces of art to be found at Spiro's.
Stacy Webber has created another one of her beautiful cross stitch book marks. I think I did some cross stitch when I was younger and had eyes that worked a little better! Also look for one of Rebecca Westeren's original arcylic and gold paintings. Rebecca is a wonderful artist and you will find more of her work at her gallery For Art Sake! in the Finholm area.
By the way, you do know that good art is not suppose to match your couch, right?
So, now you're in UPTOWN and you need some great shoes. I love the shoes in this store! If you haven't seen these great shoes...go there, now! By the way...find one of those little collectible Gig Harbor Film Festival posters!!!
Save the date: Oct 15,16,17 for the 3rd annual Gig Harbor Film Festival- be there!

"First you jump off the cliff, then build your wings on the way down!"

Here's another one of those beautiful art cards by Kathy Thurston!!! Kathy is an artist that works in pen and ink. You will enjoy her beautiful work, to frame, or to give...but....you'd better be quick. If you miss Kathy's work in this retail location....drive on down to the Ebb Tide Gallery on Pioneer and see more of her beautiful art!!! OOPS!!! Can't imagine where you will find this art card!!

"I need some exercise...let's go shopping"
What's with men? Why is it when they need a blue shirt, they go to the store and they buy the first blue shirt they see? We women, we need to look around, explore...thank goodness for exploration!
Oops...almost forgot to tell you to explore the Finholm District...that's where you'll find this little FREE art......
