Sometimes here in Gig Harbor, we can look at the sky and just imagine a beautiful sunset or glorious sunrise...reds and purples...and yellows....and blue. Of course, everyone knows if you are looking for something special for someone........the Harbor Mercantile has special gifts, for special people. Perhaps it is our founding fathers who believed in the right to free speech, artist expression...
Perhaps it is Malcolm Edwards and his photography and his photograph, which was tossed out of the Peninsula Art League Show by certain? Gig Harbor Council persons, who censored this photography from being in the Peninsula Art League Show at the Civic Center..would not allow this photograph to be hung with the rest of the PAL show.
Perhaps it is Rebecca Westeren, owner of For Art Sake, here in the harbor, that agreed to hang and display this piece of art.
Perhaps it is Michelangelo, who created the David sculpture...
